Art is doxology

As human beings made in the image of God, we cannot help but be captivated by the reality of truth and beauty around us. C.S. Lewis says, “Nature never taught me that there exists a God of glory and of infinite majesty. I had to learn that in other ways. But nature gave the word ‘glory’ meaning for me. I still do not know where else I could have found one.” Subsequently elsewhere, Lewis concludes, “Our desire is to not only SEE glory but to participate in the glory we see.”
